Hot Peppers in Oil
Ingredients
- 3-4 medium Hungarian hot peppers
- 1-2 small jalapeno peppers
- 1 cubanelle pepper
- 2-3 mini sweet peppers (*optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt an pepper to taste
- Italian seasoning
- Sugar (optional)
Directions
- Cut your peppers lengthwise and deseed (or leave the seeds in for an extra kick!), then cut the halves into small strips
- Place the peppers in a bowl and add salt and pepper to taste, then coat with olive oil
- Add your minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and sugar (if desired)
- Mix well and serve
This recipe is delicious when served with bread and butter, but it also goes great as a topper for burgers, steaks, and even pizza!
*Add mini sweets if you'd like to mellow out the heat
