Hot Peppers in Oil

  • Cut your peppers lengthwise and deseed (or leave the seeds in for an extra kick!), then cut the halves into small strips
  • Place the peppers in a bowl and add salt and pepper to taste, then coat with olive oil
  • Add your minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and sugar (if desired)
  • Mix well and serve

This recipe is delicious when served with bread and butter, but it also goes great as a topper for burgers, steaks, and even pizza!

*Add mini sweets if you'd like to mellow out the heat
